It is never a dull moment in KC’s class. While coaching us, he never failed to energise our class and make us laugh with his sense of humour. KC brought joy into learning Math, a subject which I personally struggled with a lot in school. He used various techniques to help us to learn the different topics effectively which made learning much easier.

From the very beginning, KC always consistently encouraged us and had faith in us even if we made mistakes. From giving us pep talks to sending us text messages to cheer us on, he always supported us. Above it all, he is determined in ensuring that we have the right attitude. KC would sometimes share certain quotes or stories with us. One that I remember vividly - "A bird sitting on a tree is never afraid of the branch breaking, because its trust is not on the branch but on its wings.” He wanted us to trust in the techniques and skills we learnt in class and not be afraid of the difficult questions during the O Levels.  This quote gave me courage the day before the O Level Math paper and I still remember it till this day.

All in all, KC is genuinely a great coach and every lesson with him was productive and fun!

Throughout all the lessons I've attended, KC has never had a boring session. He tells us jokes, funny stories and life experiences that keeps us in the present. Never failing to capture our attention back to the lesson, KC has undoubtedly shown great effort and dedication towards us through his teachings. This is especially evident during our intensive revision periods. He ensures that we all are up to speed and never gives up on us no matter what.

I have come to notice the unfaltering desire in his eyes to watch us succeed in our Mathematics, but more importantly in life! He grooms us to be honest, to persevere through tough times and to always give our 101%. It has been an absolute pleasure to be under is guidance and I'm sure that any future student of his would feel the same. I've come to learn so much from him not just from being my coach, but also as a friend that I can trust! With that, thank you KC for being a pillar of support and being a coach for not only my Mathematics but also in life.

It has all been great memories from day 1. I have never regretted my decision to join KC's class. I remember when I used to struggle with upper secondary math as I found it quite challenging. Despite working hard, my results never did any justice - I was borderline passing.

With the help of KC and the techniques he imparted, I could better grasp the subject. KC was a dedicated coach. Whenever someone needed help, he would stay back after class to guide them. He also taught us many life lessons. One quote he shared was “don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done.” That kept me going till the end.

Thank you for constantly believing in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself. Your encouragements definitely kept me going as I studied. Thank you for helping me to get the A that I desired from the beginning. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for never giving up on me!

After my first ever lesson I had with KC, I was amazed at the way he teaches. When my school teachers asked me to drop A-Math, I felt extremely discouraged. However, KC encouraged and supported me and that gave me hope for the subject.

KC’s classes are always entertaining, funny and relatable especially when he shares about his life. He always put in effort to make the concepts easier to comprehend, and implements extra consultations and classes for students that need it. He is also very patient as a person, especially when it comes to his explanations. I saw myself gradually improving after each timed practice and KC would never fail to give me some encouragement. He definitely puts in a lot of effort to ensure that we understand and learn.

KC made me a more confident person going in for my paper during O's. I am happy and thankful that I was well prepared for my papers. The journey to scoring well is definitely tough but it will not be in vain. A-Math is not difficult, you just need the right person to guide you. And for me KC was the one. I am truly thankful to have been taught by an amazing coach. It was lots of fun!

For the two years that I had attended classes with KC, I thoroughly enjoyed the process. KC has a unique way of making lessons fun and also productive at the same time, making it easier for me to learn. He has the ability to always keep me engaged and ready to learn throughout all our classes! The short stories and frequent jokes he shared definitely made me look forward to his classes.

With KC as my coach, I was always confident that he was with me on my journey right up to my O Level exams. He never failed to reply to my questions as soon as possible, even when it was late at night and he would also make sure that I cleared any doubts or misunderstandings I may have had in certain topics. He was always patient and very logical with his approach to help me which really allowed to me learn at a pace that I was comfortable at.

Aside from being my math coach, KC has also taught me to be more confident in my abilities and to stay determined despite difficulties. I am extremely grateful to have had KC as my coach and he has definitely made a positive impact on my life!

The biggest takeaway I had from the lessons with KC is to always be confident and to never give up on yourself no matter how much you feel like giving up. One way KC helped me academically was by using relatable stories for particular topics. These helped me to deepen my understanding of the topics instead of just blindly memorising them. KC’s classes were not only fun and enjoyable, they were also enriching too, which allowed me to enjoy math. It made me feel that math was not that tough after all.

KC also built up my confidence in facing tough challenges. Throughout the preparation for O Levels, KC never gave up on me and always thought of different ways to help me to understand concepts - patiently explained them and even went the extra mile to ensure that I understood the concepts. He even answered my math questions despite it being very late at night. His determination and desire for me to do well really made me want to do him proud and not let his efforts go to waste. It gave me the desire to fight and endure through till the end of O levels.

Not only is KC an amazing coach, he is also someone I could easily talk to and confide in! He’s very sincere, friendly, and quick witted! He also encouraged me a lot, and through his encouragement, I also learnt to be braver and to look at things in a more positive light. I remember during one of his motivational speeches, he talked to us about how we should not worry about how others see us or judge us but instead just focus on ourselves to become better! His words really impacted me a lot and pushed me to want to realise my true potential.

KC really has a unique way of engaging you in learning math, so you don't have to be afraid of doing math with KC around!

KC is funny, supportive and caring. He has made A Math fun and enjoyable, and also easier to understand. KC's style of coaching was very chill and casual with many jokes here and there, so it helps to break barriers and I view him as not just a coach but as a friend too. Whenever we get questions or concepts wrong, he does not scold us, but rather will patiently point out our mistakes so that we can learn from it. This makes me feel comfortable around him and I freely ask questions without judgment. KC really puts in a lot of effort in teaching each and every one of his students and he goes the extra mile to check in with us after every class to make sure we understand what was taught. That really gave me the drive to push on to get my desired results.

KC has also helped me very practically by sharing many key concepts that I did not have before, which helped me to understand the A Math better. Now I can solve questions with ease! I now have much more confidence in myself when solving A Math problems, and that confidence has also trickled into my other subjects too. One thing that KC really instilled in me is that I should not be discouraged when I receive an undesirable result, just keep putting in effort and it will improve!
